Keyword Suggestion Tool with Search Volume and CPC
A keyword suggestion tool finds keywords related to your topic and how often they are searched. This free tool returns up to 50 related keywords with monthly Google search volume, cost per click and competition for six countries when live data is connected, and autocomplete ideas when it is not. It also replaces our old keyword CPC calculator.

About this tool
Choosing keywords on gut feel is how sites end up with pages nobody searches for, or with pages chasing terms so competitive they never reach page one. Search volume shows the size of the demand, cost per click shows what advertisers will pay for it, and competition shows how crowded the paid results are. Together they tell you which keywords deserve a page and which are a waste of a month.
With the live data source connected, the tool asks DataForSEO's related keywords service for up to 50 terms drawn from Google's "searches related to" results for your seed, two levels deep, in the country you choose. Volumes are Google Ads monthly averages, CPC is in US dollars, and competition is the paid advertising level (low, medium or high), not how hard it is to rank organically. Answers are cached for 24 hours. The CPC column is what our old keyword CPC calculator used to show, so that page now points here.
Without the live connection, the tool runs the same autocomplete expansion as our long-tail keyword generator, so you still get real phrases people type, grouped and ready to copy, just without numbers. We would rather show no volume than an invented one. When SEO SMO HUB plans a client's content, this is the step where a hundred ideas become the ten pages worth writing.
Frequently asked questions
Where do the search volumes come from?
When the live source is connected, volumes, CPC and competition come from DataForSEO, which collects Google Ads keyword data. Volume is the average number of monthly searches over the last twelve months in the chosen country. Read it as an order of magnitude rather than an exact count, because Google rounds these figures.
What does competition mean here?
Competition measures how many advertisers bid on the keyword in Google Ads, shown as low, medium or high with a score from 0 to 1. It is not organic ranking difficulty. A keyword with high ad competition and a high CPC usually signals buyer intent, which makes it worth an organic page even when ranking takes longer.
Can I use this as a keyword CPC calculator?
Yes. Each suggested keyword shows its average cost per click in US dollars from Google Ads data, which is what a CPC calculator reports. Use it to estimate what a click would cost in paid search, to spot the high-value commercial terms worth an organic page, and to compare the cost of ads against the cost of ranking.
Why does it sometimes show ideas without volumes?
That means the live keyword data source is not connected or did not answer. Rather than guess, the tool falls back to Google and Bing autocomplete, which proves people search a phrase but not how often. Check the ideas you like in Google Keyword Planner, or try again later for the full numbers.
How do I pick keywords from the list?
Shortlist terms that match a page you could genuinely write, then weigh volume against intent: a lower-volume phrase with clear buying intent, such as a service plus a city, often earns more than a broad term. Check the competition and CPC as signals of commercial value, and run the finalists through the keyword position checker to see who ranks today.
