About this tool
APIs and exports usually give you JSON, while spreadsheets and import screens want CSV. Converting by hand is slow and breaks on the first comma inside a value. This tool reads the JSON, collects every key that appears in any object, and writes one row per object with properly quoted cells.
Nested data is flattened so nothing is lost: an object inside an object becomes a column with a dotted name such as address.city, and arrays are numbered, for example tags.0 and tags.1. Missing values stay empty. Going the other way, the first CSV row supplies the keys, quoted cells and doubled quotes are read correctly, and numbers, true, false and null can be converted to real JSON types.
Choose a comma, semicolon or tab delimiter to match the program you will open the file in. Spreadsheet programs may treat a cell that starts with an equals sign, plus, minus or at sign as a formula, so check exports from untrusted sources before opening them. Input is limited to 500 KB and nothing you paste is stored.

What JSON shape does the converter accept?
An array of objects works best, for example a list of products or users. A single object is treated as one row, and an object that holds one array, such as an API response with a data key, is unwrapped automatically. An array of plain values becomes a single column called value.
How are nested objects and arrays handled?

Why does my CSV look wrong in Excel?
Excel in some regions expects semicolons instead of commas. Choose the semicolon delimiter and convert again. If accented or Hindi characters look garbled, import the file as UTF-8 using the data import option instead of double-clicking it.
Can I convert CSV to JSON with the same tool?
