Free HTML and URL to PDF Converter
This free tool turns pasted HTML, or the address of a web page, into a basic PDF with headings, paragraphs, lists and simple tables. It is a text converter: styles, colours, pictures and scripts are not drawn. Use it for articles, notes and readable copies of pages. Nothing is stored on our server.

About this tool
Sometimes you only need a readable copy of a page: an article to read offline, a receipt saved as text, or the HTML of an email to attach to a case file. A full browser style rendering is not always needed, and it is not what this tool does. It extracts the structure and the words and sets them as clean PDF pages.
Headings become larger bold lines, paragraphs wrap to the page, list items get bullets, preformatted blocks keep their spacing and table rows become lines with cells separated by a bar. Scripts, styles, menus and footers are skipped. Choose A4 or Letter and a text size. For a URL, our server fetches the public page, so addresses that need a login, or that block automated visitors, will not work.
This is a basic converter and we say so plainly. Pictures, colours, CSS layouts, web fonts and non-Latin scripts are not reproduced, and a page built with JavaScript may come out empty because the script is never run. For a faithful copy of how a page looks, use your browser: Print, then Save as PDF. Pasted HTML can be up to 500,000 characters and the PDF up to 400 pages.
Frequently asked questions
Will the PDF look like the web page?
No. This tool builds a plain text PDF from the headings, paragraphs, lists and tables it finds. Styles, colours, pictures and layout are not reproduced. For an exact look, use your browser: Print, then Save as PDF.
Why did my URL come out empty?
The page may build its content with JavaScript, which our server does not run, or it may block automated visitors. Open the page in your browser, use View Source or Save As to copy the HTML, and paste it into the HTML box instead.
Can I convert a page that needs a login?
No. Our server can only read public pages. For private pages, save the page from your browser while you are signed in and paste the HTML into the box.
Are pictures included?
No. Pictures, icons and background images are skipped. Alt text is not added either, so the PDF holds the text content only.
Is my HTML or URL stored?
No. Your file is written to a private temporary folder, processed for the length of the request and deleted straight after, whether the job worked or not. We do not keep copies, build a library of uploads or read the content of your documents.
